What is Variations?

Variations is a software system that streams audio for classroom use. We use it to give you access to the reserve recordings for your class.
How does Variations work?
Variations works through Blackboard, so access to the music for a particular class is limited to the students and instructors in that class.
There are two ways to listen with Variations. You can listen through your browser window, or you download the Variations player. Both ways allow you to bookmark parts of audio tracks. The player also comes with playlist and listening drill tools. You can download the player here.
For more information about listening with Variations, please see other pages on this LibGuide. You can also visit our Variations User Guide here.
